Elizabeth Claxton – Managing Partner
Elizabeth is a qualified Chartered and Certified Accountant. She joined Rostrons in 1996, becoming a partner in 2001.
She works closely with many of our corporate clients and has extensive experience in business acquisitions and disposals, share valuations, succession planning and start-ups.
Elizabeth’s particular strengths include a specialist knowledge of the reporting requirements of solicitors and charities, and she leads our teams of experts who provide support and advice to these clients.

Michelle Raper - Partner
Michelle started her career with Barclays Bank plc in 1986, where she held a number of senior managerial posts prior to leaving in 2002 to join Rostrons. She completed her ACCA qualification in 2005 and became a partner in 2007.
In addition to acting for corporate and personal clients, Michelle is also a qualified independent financial adviser, holding the Diploma in Financial Planning and the advanced qualification in pension advice. This extensive experience in the financial sector makes her the ideal person to lead our wealth management team which specialises in all aspects of financial services including investment advice and personal tax planning.
Whilst working with a diverse range of clients, Michelle has developed a niche specialism with the Arts sector.

Stephen Booty – Partner
Stephen began his career with a local accountancy firm in 1987 and joined Rostrons when the firms merged a few years later.
He is the partner responsible for our successful and expanding payroll bureau and has client monies in excess of £25m per annum under his management.
Stephen is also instrumental in helping clients set up and run effective IT systems to suit their particular accounting and management needs.
"We offer a full hand-holding service in respect of both IT and payroll. It is our in-depth payroll knowledge and our high level of personal service that is attractive to both large, worldwide corporate groups and the many small employers we work with.
As a Sage accredited reseller, we offer the same high level of service for advice and support on both software and hardware issues".

Shelly Clarke – Partner
Shelly joined Rostrons in 2001 on qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.
She specialises in audit and accounts preparation, concentrating on providing an all round service. Her clients include multi-million pound turnover companies and local family businesses.
Shelly is the partner responsible for many of the specialist projects we undertake, including hive-ups, corporate restructuring, share option schemes, IHT planning and probate matters.
"We offer a different service from the norm – one that is hands-on with an active involvement in developing solutions for our clients’ day-to-day business issues. We offer sound practical advice, based on years of accounting and business experience, which is greatly appreciated by our clients".
